13. Le jardin de verre
published at 25/03/2019
Paradise is not a physical place we can set foot in, but an inner garden which we can enter by way of the heart, where we can be fulfilled.
Le Jardin de verre is a place for introspection and reflection. Through successive gardens, the visitor traces their own path between the trees and sensual plants separated by colourful geometric features. Vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines divide up the space. Thus any kind of interaction is possible including sitting, slouching, stretching out, lounging, singing, and thinking.
It is also a contemporary way of meeting other people! Being open to the idea of forging one’s own path may be the first step towards a responsible culture. The garden is an opportunity to think about what personal freedom means today. In our contemporary societies, how can we balance personal development with social responsibility?

"I have a passion for artistic garden and landscape concepts which create harmony between people and nature. Each place has its own special character and with this uniqueness it is necessary to behave in a very subtle and conscious way. Led by the heart, my intuitive design approach considers authentic, functional, easy-care and aesthetically pleasing projects. I understand gardens and landscapes deeply as living biographies of humans, animals and plants. Only in conscious interaction between all of them can the full potential of each unfold in a sustainable way. As a landscape designer, with an interdisciplinary network of specialists, I guide you through your individual design process - from concept to implementation.“
