THE GARDEN OF PLANTS AND CULTURES / YEAR 2
published at 16/03/2018
Once through the tunnel, a phantasmagorical evocation of questioning, the thought process begins. Everyone weaves their way, in their soul and consciousness, through this plant library where the plants, like books, are meticulously shelved in order.
Whether they opt to head down the wide metaphorical alleyways of “la pensée unique”, or to venture along the narrow, more uncertain paths cutting across, which shout freedom, the thinking visitors will find rest in the shade of the canvas woven pergola, capturing the most voluble thoughts. Thus settled on the mosaic seats, Man contemplates the road travelled, the succession of horizontal lines marking out the different stages of the thought process. His line of vision framed between the tall palm trees, he admires the delicate Cephalaria gigantea flowers. Perhaps the fragrance of the Peppermint brushed past in an alleyway goes to his head, follows him, sparking within him a desire to travel. The free thinkers that we are believe we can change the world with flowers…

“We are nurserypeople. By joining forces, we pool our skills and, beyond that, our desire to share our passion. Our nurseries reflect the diversity we promote, whether by their specialities, size, economic importance, or plant production and reproduction methods.
