Garden Festival Competition 2027

In 2027, the International Garden Festival will celebrate its 35^th anniversary. For this new edition, the Domain of Chaumont-sur-Loire invites you to imagine, as part of its international competition, gardens that extend the spirit of Chaumont: a concentration of imagination, poetry and high standards in landscape design.

WHO CAN APPLY?

• Landscape designers

• Landscape architects

• Professionals in garden and landscape design

• Architects, designers, scenographers, artists, gardeners or engineers working as part of a team

• Students in landscape design, architecture, horticulture, design or decorative arts

The competition is open only to applicants able to demonstrate a legal status

WHY APPLY?

• To create a garden at Chaumont-sur-Loire and give form to an idea within an internationally recognised Festival

• To experiment on a real-life scale on a plot of around 210 sq.m., with a theme to interpret and an idea to bring to life

• To present an open-air creation, integrated from spring to autumn into the route of a Festival visited by audiences from all over the world
