Garden festival competition
For the 34th International Garden Festival, the Domain of Chaumont-sur-Loire is organising an international competition for plots of around 210m2.
For over 30 years now, the International Garden Festival at Chaumont-sur-Loire has been a testing ground for contemporary creation in the field of gardens and landscape design on an international scale. The Festival encourages ideas and acts as an incubator for talent, breathing new life into the art of gardens by presenting new blooms, new materials, ideas and innovative approaches that appeal to both the general public and professionals. The diversity, creativity and sheer quality of projects have forged a global reputation for the Festival, which has become an unmissable event for a new generation of landscapers to present their work.
More than 900 gardens have been designed since 1992. Some of them were created by particularly talented landscapers such as Éric Ossart & Arnaud Maurières, Paul Hervey-Brookes, Alexandre Chemetoff, Bas Smets, Bernard Lassus, Ernesto Neto, Florence Mercier, Leon Kluge, Louis Benech, Michel Pena, Wang Shu, Kathryn Gustafson, Jean Mus, Jacqueline Osty, Inch Lim, James Basson, Odile Decq and Shodo Suzuki...
The Domain of Chaumont-sur-Loire welcomes more than 550,000 visitors every year and receives extensive national and international press coverage.
