10. Un divan au jardin
A glimpse into the world of psychotherapy, it diverts its clichés from the therapist’s consulting room. At the entrance, a small metal plaque that is gilded and engraved, an unconditional element of medical spaces, welcomes the visitor. At the heart of the garden, there is a couch where you can lie down to talk about your troubles. Behind the couch, neither a person in a suit nor a notebook, but a tree, silent and benevolent.
DESIGNERS
Fanny Perrot was born in Nantes in 1984. She studied architecture in Nantes and Barcelona, in schools which give a lot of importance to reflection on the landscape. Since she got her diploma in 2007, she has been working in various architectural agencies in Nantes and the surrounding area. In the near future, she wants to create an agency, together with partners, that combines the disciplines of the architect and the landscape architect. The Chaumont-sur-Loire Garden Festival is the opportunity for her to create an initial project with this in mind.
Camille Picot was born in Paris in 1984. She is a qualified architect who studied at the school of architecture in Nantes and has been working for 2 years with “ARDEPA”, (regional association for the dissemination and promotion of architecture), where she is developing educational workshops based around the town, architecture and landscape, which are intended for young people. She has a passion for music and explores architecture and landscape architecture through various artistic fields. She became aware of plants and their virtues at a very early age and now shows a special interest in the various benefits offered by nature.
