The young architects, Anna Santacreu Felis, Louis Sicard and Sergio Garcia Gasco Lominchar, from Valencia came together in 2008 to develop their joint idea relating to landscaping and architecture. They are currently working on four home extension projects in France and Spain, finishing an urban redevelopment competition in Alicante and an urban garden competition in Bilbao. Moreover, they work in different architect’s offices. Armelle Renard is a horticultural engineer, who graduated from INH Angers and is currently employed by the FNSEA. She has already taken part in the creation of gardens within the context of her studies and for private customers. Dorothée Fischer is an expert in communication for regional INTERREG European development schemes.
Louis Sicard studied architecture at the INSA in Strasbourg, where he qualified in 2006. He has worked for Franck Hammoutène, Reichen and Robert and Lehoux and Phily architects in Paris, K. Jamil in Berlin, and Jaime Sanahuja and Alvaro Gomez Ferrer in Valencia. His graduation project, the redevelopment of the banks of the River Maine in Angers, operates on three levels: the region, landscape and architecture. Since then, he has devoted his research to various personal projects (home extensions, various competitions) at the crossover between architecture and landscaping.
Sergio García-Gasco Lominchar. Architect qualified with first-class honours from the Escuela Technica Superior de Architectura (school of architecture) in Valencia, Spain, 2006. From 2004-2005 he completed his qualifications at the Paris La Villette school of architecture. He was awarded different I.A.E.S.T.E. grants to work for various architects in Michigan (USA), Tunis, Macedonia, Valence and Paris, where he worked with Dominique Perrault. In 2005, he created Enproyecto Arquitectura, a business he runs together with coordinating his teaching activities at the school of architecture in Valencia and collaborating in research initiatives for the department of architectonic projects. He is also the coordinator of the ENBLANCO magazine and prepared a doctorate in 2006.
Anna Santacreu Felis qualified from the Escuela Technica Superior de Architectura in Valencia in July 2007. As her graduation project, she took an interest in the remodelling of the urban network of Benicassim with the introduction of a new cultural centre. Her intervention was supported by a spectacular enhancement of the landscape's lines and natural spaces. Since then, she has been working at the Jaime Sanahuja office in Valencia. She has also taken part in several parks and public square competitions.
Armelle Renard is a horticultural engineer, who graduated from INH Angers and is currently employed by the FNSEA. She has already been involved in the creation of gardens within the context of her studies and for private customers.
Dorothee Fischer, of German origin, is an expert in communication and European business. She worked as a freelance television and radio journalist (for ARTE France and Germany among others), before being employed by Strasbourg as press attaché to the European NGO “Association of Local Democracy Agencies” between 2003 and 2008. She is currently in charge of communications for “INTERACT”, the European territorial cooperation programme, in Valencia, Spain. Furthermore, she continues to devote herself to European media and cultural projects.
